Special Requests
A certain portion of the Friends’ income is reserved for “wish list” items that would be useful to the library but which fall outside of its operating budget.
If you use your laptop at the library, you can thank the Friends for the strong WiFi connection. We pay for a number of hotspots to improve the signal inside the building.
Recently we authorized the purchase of a much-needed new laminator for the library staff.
Past purchases include shelving, furniture, a display case, and the outdoor book drop pictured here.
