Fall Appeal
For more than 50 years, the Friends of the J.V. Fletcher Library have been fulfilling their mission of helping your library do more.
Generous support from the community has allowed the Friends to extensively enhance the library’s print and digital collections, and to fund popular and flourishing initiatives like the Mother Goose story times, dozens of museum passes, and the Summer Reading Programs.
The Library will move offsite early in 2025, as the expansion and renovation project enters the building phase. During this time, the Friends will continue to offer the resources our patrons enjoy. But this year we're reaching out for your support for the building project.
The Friends, through our Foundation subcommittee, have pledged to raise $1.5 million to offset the cost of the project. Your donation to this year's Fall Appeal will help pay for furnishings in the expanded, renovated Library that are durable, flexible, and accessible - furnishings that will make the Library as comfortable, warm, and welcoming as it has always been.
Your tax-deductible contribution - no matter the size - will help create a lasting legacy for generations.
